Jay Hartzler, retired high school music teacher, has turned his long-time summer hobby of doing custom woodwork projects into providing employment for Romas, know to us as gypsies, in the village of Tigmandru where work is hard to come by. Downtowner Tina Glanzer, will introduce us to Jay and his wife Sheri who are long time colleagues in education. Jay will give us a virtual tour of his workshop in Tigmandru and tell us the fascinating story of how this work opportunity for underemployed Roma became a reality.
