Exploring Racism 101

Exploring Racism

Exploring Racism 101 will be a two-hour session facilitated by Adam Hosey of the YWCA’s Center for Racial and Gender Equity. Goals for our time with Adam will be to provide common language for understanding equity issues and to begin the process of reflection on our own racial identity development. This will include a pre and post assessment to identify future areas of interest.

This presentation comes highly recommended from Downtowners Claire Fey, Faith D’Urbano and Susan Will who have already participated in another similar program sponsored by the Equity Foundation and facilitated by the YWCA. They describe the presentation as both professional and gracious.
