Wright's Ferry Mansion Tour and Lunch at Union Station Grill
Wright’s Ferry Mansion, built in 1738 and located in the borough of Columbia, was built for Susanna Wright,an English Quaker poet and businesswoman. Its architecture reflects a mix of English and Germanic elements. Join Downtowners for a tour of this beautifully restored home that reflects the sophisticated tastes and interests of its original owner.
Meet in the parking lot of Community Mennonite Church, 328 W. Orange, at 10 am to form carpools. Admission is $5 per person, cash or check, collected on site on the day of the tour.
Following the house tour, the group will gather at Union Station Grill, 173 S. Fourth Street, for lunch. Return to Lancaster should be around 3 pm.
Registration is limited to fifteen persons.
