The Bird-in-Hand orchard has a new art installation, called “Returning,” made from pruned fruit tree branches surrounding a labyrinth. The installation is a collaboration between artist Rhonda Hershey Ike and orchard manager Clair Kauffman
“’Returning’ invites viewers to honor and enjoy nature by engaging with various contemplative spaces within the exhibit. Rhonda and Clair will meet us at the installation and tell us the story and suggest ways that we may experience the installation.
A suggested donation of $10 (or whatever works for you) will be collected. Feel free to invite and register prospective members.
We will meet at 6:30 pm at Community Mennonite Church parking lot to form carpools and review specific directions to the labyrinth location.
