Janet Townsend, Mary Cae Williams and Lenny Williams have been playing “professional” bocce with the Lancaster Bocce League for the past number of years. Their season ends in August but they would like to extend by inviting other Downtowners to join them for some post season playing. No experience is necessary, and no, they are NOT professional. They are simply extending an invitation to join them for fun and outdoor exercise. They will teach you the basics. You can register to give them an idea of how many to expect, or simply show up. Bring your own chair or sit on benches that are provided. Event repeats Wednesdays at 10 am through October 24, weather permitting.
